De speakers dien je dan weer aan de versterker te koppelen. Dit is o.a. nodig omdat je anders geen volume controle hebt. Hi, Sorry for replying in English.  Which model of speakers are you using please?  In order to be able to connect a Beogram turntable directly to speakers, the speakers need to have their own volume control, as the Beogram doesn't have any volume adjustment built in. I can then help with the correct cable to use once the model of the speakers is known. Kind regards, Steve.

I’m using this speakerset (with build in volume and bass regulation). It’s originally build as a gaming sounds system, but for me it’s really great. https://www.logitech.com/nl-nl/products/speakers/z623-speaker-system-thx.980-000403.html So I don’t need a separate device to adjust the volume.    

Ik heb geen versterker (nodig) aangezien mijn speakerset een knop heeft om volume en bass aan te passen. Is deze kabel dan ook geschikt om ‘m rechtstreeks aan te sluiten (zie foto voor stekker speakerset)

Is this connector really the only option? Or is it also possible for me to manually replace the plug with a more common plug?

Hallo annemiekuhh, Personally I would never cut the cable. The BeoGram 4500 is a valuable record player, loved by many enthusiasts. It will not be original anymore when you cut the cable and lose a part of its value. Probably more than the price of the cable. Just my thought. Johan

Bedankt voor je advies! N.a.v. jouw berichtje ben ik even naar de Bang&Olufsen dealer in mijn stad geweest, en kreeg daar het advies om de 2 onderste pinnetjes (die met schroefdraad vastzitten) eruit te halen, waardoor het een 5-pins stekker wordt. Zij hadden een "5-pin DIN to RCA" verloopje te koop, en m'n Beogram 4500 loopt nu als een zonnetje! (zie filmpje) Bedankt voor het advies!
