Ouverture turn on crackling

Hello everyone, I just registered here in the forum, because I'm having a problem with my old Ouverture (Type 2631 SW2.1) + Beolab (2 x Type 6201). When I turn the system on from standby, there's a very loud crackling noise, and the sound output sounds noisy and very quiet. Whether playing CDs or tuners. I've already opened the system and checked for the usual suspects (electrolytic capacitors), but I couldn't find anything wrong. Do any of you have any ideas? Thank you for your help! Jörg

Hello, I would first eliminate the speakers. Try the system with just one speaker plugged in and see if the problem persists. The cables may also cause this issue. Does the problem also occur when using headphones? Kind regards, Pete
