y'know the springs you get in picture frames to push the backing against the glass? Those work well as an alternative.
A replacement spring could also be made from spring steel sheet stock. It is a simple shape that could be cut out with a Dremel or nibbler tool. The stock springs are 0.5mm thick.

uP board, display board, big alu cover - anything else is available ?

I mean the long black plastic piece that attaches the alu cover to the chassis.
