Just a question as I'm curious whether I'm the only one experiencing dropouts or repeated fragments during listening to B&O radio.
Am I?
I think I have a rather sophisticated Ubiquiti Unifi Wifi system. It contains several Unifi Accespoint Pro(5,6, LR and Lite's all powered with POE switches, and router.
The overal available internet speed lays around 800Mbps. All information can be gathered with the help of the Ubiquiti app.
Streaming any other content (4K/Tidal/Deezer) doesn't appear to be a problem.
During the day it happens at least once or twice a day. It happens on a Beosound 1 mk2. When joining it is even worse on the Essence mk2. It happens often that I listen to a part twice, as it repeats.
I've recently bought a new U6 Pro to replace the older AC Pro (2,4 and 5Ghz), but the BS1 doesn't connect to the new U6 and remains connected to one of the older other and accespoints.
It's connected through the 5Ghz and sometimes to the 2,4Ghz band.
I can redirect the BS1mk2 to be connected with a dedicated acces point with the help of the Unifi app. But to no avail.
The logs tell me that the BS1mk2 disconnects and the some time later it connects again.
I did look at some BS1's country settings as my dealer suggested. I've read a document with B&O's preferred Unifi settings (avoid and disable mesh settings,
So, I'm struggling to get my finger on the cause of this. Is it network related? A faulty BS1? Or is it B&O radio?
All I know that it irritates the misses massively and asks me whether we are the only one experiencing this kind of problems.
So, I need to solve this before she demands the old Beosound 3 back in place :-)

Quite a challenge to achieve "Less is More" while having the Beovirus.
