beogram 3000 /1202 etc tone arm removal ??

I have to rewire this beogram 3000 tonearm wires ..I can't see how to definitely remove the tone arm.   I ave tried soldering the wires but on the bend there is a blockage and i can see copper wire in the pivot area.   any help about ..thanks

i managed to unblock and thread litz wire through.
