BeoPort or BM-Link, which is best?

I am researching a bit about the BeoLink PC2 (BeoPort) and was wondering which client software is best for the user experience, the BeoPort or BM-Link? (BeoPort is for Windows and BM-Link for Mac but I could repurpose either so that is not a deciding factor)
  1. On a BeoSound 9000, is metadata show from N.RADIO and N.MUSIC and if so which shows most BeoPort or BM-Link? What would be shown? (My BS9000 mk2 is upgraded to latest sw 2.21a)
  2. What is the latest version of MacOS BM-Link can be installed on?
  3. What is the latest version of Windows BeoPort can be installed on?
  4. Where can i safely download the latest versions of BM-Link and BeoPort and what are the latest versions that work?

I can't answer all your questions, but offer the following: Beoport latest version for PC is Version 5.04.00.0031 - I downloaded from here:

Thank you Guy and Madskp for your input and links. Where can I download and purchase Linkplayer 1 and Linkplayer 2 please? I have searched and cannot find this.
