Hi: I have beosound Ouverture / 4000 system. The CD has stopped working. The unit uses a CDM 12 laser mechanism (Linear pickup). When I load a CD into the mechanism and hit “CD” the unit will not respond. The disc spindle motor does not spin.  With the CD removed I can see that the laser lens is moving to focus. I can also see the red light of the laser on my phone camera. In Test Mode, the laser turns on, and moves correctly. I can also turn on the spindle motor (it spins anti-clockwise per service manual). I am unable to get it to play a CD in test mode. When select test mode 6, I get ERROR G. This error code is not described in the service manual. Any ideas   I’ve recapped the SERVO board on the back of the mechanism; no change. The CD laser was replaced several years ago and has seen very little use since. The laser does come on. Last time the unit played a CD was about 4 years ago. No problems at the time. The battery inside the CPU has been replaced. I didn’t see that any special programming instructions after battery change. Any suggestions for things to try? Thanks!   Derek
