I love the tabletop stand with the BV7. Because it tilts up it looks so cool when it's woken up 😎 I'm reminded of James Bond when he plays back M's video message to Moneypenny in his London flat in Spectre. His (Sony - pah!) tv is mounted very low and looks very slick. I used to have my BV7-32 on the floor but on the table stand when I was a Beobachelor πŸ˜„

Looking good, must sound fantastic with the BL9s. The tilting is indeed quite a special feature of the 7-40 stands (I admit to have modded a 7-40 wall bracket for my 7-32 once). I always found it an interesting choice of B&O to make the BeoLab 7-1/2/6 slightly different in width than the TV sets! Regards, Johan

Thanks for the comments guys! You have a suggestion for the settings of the speakers? Suurround L+R or Front L+R?

Hi, The manual says:
But I trust that you can only select surround speakers after you have selected front speakers, and rears after you have selected front + surround.
Don't forget to set volume levels and speaker distances. And enjoy!

Alright thanks!! final question; ive put a 1611 converter between the BC9500 and beovision, with the beolabs connected to the BV7. I’m trying to use a beolink7000 to control the audio sources and volume. However, if I press CD on the 7000, the beocenter wakes up but the beovision doesnt. The beovision does wake up with a beo4 if I press CD. When playing a CD, if I select a track on the beolink7000, it does go from track 1 to track 4. The display on the beovision changes to CD4. But then I cannot controle volume with beolink7000, but it can control volume with the beo4. If I turn off the beocenter with the beolink7000, the beovision also turns off (??) Beovision and beocenter are both in A.opt2 and V.opt2, would that be the problem? Thanks in advance

Hello. With my set-up (BV7 & Beosystem 6500 with Beolink converter) I have the Beomaster in Op 0 (zero) and BV in Op 2. I'm not sure if your Beolink 7000 can talk to the BV so you may want to stick with the Beo4 for films/tv watching and controlling your 9500. It'll all work via the BV.
