Dismantling a Beosound essence remote / trying to fix it.

Hello, One of my Beosound essence remotes suffered from a battery leak and stopped working. The only solution I could find in order to clean it thoroughly and try to fix it, was to open it up, and since I could not find any proper documentation on this, I decided to post my findings. Disclaimer, I don't know what Im doing, I probably suck at doing this, and there's got to be a better way of doing it, I have nothing to lose, worst case I will use what is left as spare parts for the other remotes I have. this is post is only for futur referencing. 1/Remove the cover plate / label whatever you want to call it. I used some pretty strong double sided tape and pulled way too hard, the whole assembly came off and broke 4 black plastic tabs that are screwed to the remote. Then I separated the black support from the cover plate with a razor blade, very very very gently.

7/Removing the back plate, IR LEDs will  bend straight when gently pulling it out, no other choice, clearly was not made to be taken apart. 8/Cleaning with white vinegar and isopropyl alcohol (chatgpted this) 9/Fixing the tabs back with superglue, seems to work 10/Got some life back but still not working.
