Has the B&O signature sound changed over the years?

I'm wondering if the classic B&O sound signature has evolved over time. Would you say the 70s speakers sound different compared to the ones from the 2000s? What do you guys think?
One would expect it to. Different technologies, cabinet styles, different measuring and analysis of signals, the "fashion" of more extended and accentuated bass, coupled with relatively cheap methods to make said bass. I dont think it is a bad thing, nor is the current B&O sound. More evolution than revolution.
