JukeBlox media module CR870-2C: in B&O products?

As a side project I am trying to repair a ). I have included the data sheet/manual of this module (in attachment). In the B&W A7 this communications/streaming module seems broken. This is some info about this module (used in B&W A5, A7 and Zeppelin Air):
  • Manufacturer: SMSC (not 100% sure)
  • Name of module series: JukeBlox
  • Type: CR870-2C, Mfg 200
        Question
  1. Does anyone know this module or problems with it?
  2. Does anyone know if there are ways to solve those issues?
  3. Does anyone know a source to buy a replacement module?

Hi! Did you find out about this? It appears this module is also used in A9 mk1. I am wondering if it can be upgraded to a more modern version.
