I have a Masterlink Gateway used for a Beosound 9000 + Home Assistant +Beoconnect Core integration that makes the BS9000 integrated with multi-room, home automations, a custom visual remote, with an all digital signal path. It's really great and, amusingly given the price, much better functionality than a the recreated classic BS9000c. Unfortunately the MLGW is stopped working, and is giving a solid red light on boot (green light 3 seconds, followed by permanent red). None of the setup button approaches work (read and tried all steps in service manual). I can log into the web interface of the device but cant go beyond the landing page (cant access setup or web panel). Any folks who:
  1. know how to recover? Can't find any technician tools or apps that interface. I'm comfortable with telnet, have a USB to serial adapter, and don't mind bricking it if I mess something else.
  2. verified servicer who can repair - I spoke to a couple and sounds like the answer is "replace main board", which is multiples the cost of a used unit, so not really worthwhile unless someone else knows of an angle.  It's almost certainly a software issue and could be fixed with the right tools (if they exist)
Bonus points if anybody has one (or Beolink Gateway) they're looking to unload, good to have a second even if I end up being able to fix this. Thanks for any advice!
