Visit to Multicare

Thank you, Peter!
It was a pleasure meeting and showing you around the Multicare workshop.
We’re so glad you enjoyed the tour – it’s always special for us to share our passion for restoring these classic Bang & Olufsen pieces. There’s a lot of history in that warehouse, and it’s true that even the well-worn pieces find a way to stick around! I’m glad you were impressed by the work we’re doing; bringing those original BG4000s back to life is a real labour of love, and knowing you’re considering it for your own Beogram means a lot to us.
It was wonderful of you to lend us the Beogram 3000 Thorens – it’s a real gem. Your donation of extra goodies will be put to good use, and who knows, they might just become prizes that make another enthusiast's day.
Thank you for your kind words and your recommendation to Beoworld members. We’re grateful to be part of this community and to have the opportunity to work on such unique pieces for people like you. It’s a joy to keep these machines playing beautifully for many years to come! Reproducing some of the PCBs has become necessary with some of the classic products, we have managed to create LED kits for the BeoGram 4000, 4002, 4004 & 6000.
As you mentioned we recreated the control panel flex PCB for your BeoMaster 4401 and more recently we reproduced a PCB for the BeoMaster Terminal which was draining the battery.
All the best,
Mark
Bang & Olufsen classic service centre.
Repairs and refurbishment to both old and new.
Had a splendid visit to Multicare yesterday to see Mark and his colleagues. The new base is very smart and clearly a lot more comfortable that the previous one. Not quite as large so relieved the pressure slightly by taking back some of my bits which they have kindly repaired though did give a BC 9500 with a transformer hum to be looked at (in my humble opinion, this is the best bit of B&O audio available. Works quite well with a Beolink 7000, multiroom, has Powerlink but also powered DIN outputs and has a good radio and cd player behind a fantastic fascia, if slightly large!) Also given my Beosound 5 back - I confess this machine is possibly my least favourite piece - maybe only trumped by the Moment!
Many thanks to Mark et al for the welcome and tour. This is the place to get your B&O serviced - well done and friendly staff. The Beogram 4000c they make is also fabulous.
