in one interview Geoff told the public, that they use diferent speakers from different brands and compare them with their speakers. It is important to spot the differences and innovations. Over the years, B&O must have a fine collection of Canton, JBL and whatever speakers. But what do they do with all these speakers, do they sell them? Do they throw them away? I'm really curious what they do.

When I worked in loudspeaker design, we would often buy competitors' speakers for evaluation purposes.
When done with them, they were either donated to charity, or offered to staff for a nominal sum.
