I bought a reproduction dust cover for my TX2 on Ebay which looks fantastic, but it must be a little heavier as it won't stay in the up position. Does anyone know if there is an adjustment to balance it? Thanks

Beogram TX2 Dust Cover

The metal top plate on Beogram TX2 is smaller than on most other type 59xx decks, so the original cover is lighter and the holding springs are different.
Take out the springs, stretch them by hand so they end up apprx 5-6 mm longer than they were, and fit them again.
