Beomaster 4500 Faulty Balance

I have an aging 4500 system which until recently was working. like a dream. However, now the balance is stuck at 20 to the right channel (0 to the left) and 4 on the bass. The touch panel does not respond to these issues, nor does the remote. Everything else is fine. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

First thing would be to replace the backup battery and reset the settings. Martin

Solder the old one out and solder a new one in. Then do NVRAM reset as mentioned in the service manual. Martin
