I have a pair of DVD2 players that will not accept the multi-region code.  One actually crashes when I try to enter it, and the other seems to take it, but still won't play DVDs from more than one region.  I assume this is because of the controller software in the DVD2s.  I have access the proper cabling and am pretty handy with windows command prompts, so I think I can follow the service guide instructions.  This leads to the obvious question of where do I get the updated software? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
