5500 CD Player logic board wanted

Anyone have board #5 for a 5500 cd player? Thanks
Hi, Can’t you repair the one you have? It isn’t rocket science!
Jacques
maybe. I actually had then like an idiot dropped a screwdriver on it and shorted it out..... now i have other things to do....
Chances are that the transformer’s thermal fuse has had it. Do test that first. Maybe the board is still good.

Is it completely dead? Martin
yes
As already suggested, check the thermal fuse in the transformer as the first thing. Next, check for cracked solder joints at connectors and at the large capacitors at the back. Martin
And I might add that if the thermal fuse melted, you have to find the cause of that on the main board. A shorted cap, diode… investigate. Something I still love doing, even though my abilities decline little by little. Enjoy.
